Destination Dine & Design: Holiday Edition
The Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce invites member restaurants to join the Destination Dine & Design Restaurant Contest—a seasonal competition that highlights the creativity, hospitality, and local pride of Elizabeth’s dining scene.
This Holiday/Winter season, restaurants will transform their spaces with festive décor, themed menus, and engaging guest experiences that celebrate Elizabeth’s rich culture and community spirit.
Contest Details
• Open to GECC Members Only
• Entry Fee: $100
• Contest Period: November 1– December 31, 2025
• Winners Announced: January 9, 2025 at the State of the City
• Top Prize: Up to $3,000

• Outdoor Décor Creativity (must meet municipal guidelines)
• Indoor Décor
• Themed Menu Options (historical references earn extra points)
• Staff Training & Engagement
• Staff Attire
• Tourism Certification Participation
• Miscellaneous Creativity
A secret judging panel will visit participating restaurants throughout the contest period. Winners will be revealed at the Holiday Social in December and recognized again at the State of the City in January.
How to Participate
Complete this registration form and submit the $100 entry fee.
Design your restaurant with a Halloween or fall-inspired theme.
Share photos and videos on social media using the official contest hashtag.
Ensure your team is trained and ready to deliver a standout guest experience.
Participation includes marketing promotion through the Chamber’s platforms and citywide recognition.
